Can I preview Scribe without an account?
Yes. Scribe's editor and hand-drawn video preview are free and unlimited, including for anonymous visitors. Paste code or text, upload a file, or draw a sketch and watch the result in your browser.
How many Scribe videos can I export?
Free includes 5 finished-video exports per UTC day, resetting at 00:00 UTC, ending with a short Todrawn Scribe end card. Premium and lifetime exports are unlimited, with no end card by default. Every preview stays clean.
When do Free Scribe exports reset?
The Free allowance is 5 exports per UTC day and resets at 00:00 UTC. An export used before midnight counts for that UTC day; Premium exports are unlimited.
Is Todrawn free?
Yes. Scribe previewing is free and unlimited, and Free includes 5 Scribe exports per UTC day, resetting at 00:00 UTC. The Todrawn workspace gives you 3 boards with 5 images each, full drawing tools and shapes, and real-time collaboration with up to 4 people per board. No card required.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the paid billing period — Premium stays active until then, and no further charges are made.
What happens to my boards if I go back to the free plan?
Nothing is deleted. Boards and images over the free limits stay exactly where they are — you just can't create new ones beyond the limit until you upgrade again.
Which image formats can I put on a board?
PNG, JPEG, GIF and WebP. On the free plan each board holds up to 5 images; on Premium there's no limit.
I forgot my password. What now?
Use “Forgot password” on the log-in page. We'll email you a one-time code so you can set a new one — it expires after a few minutes, so use it right away.
Do you store my card details?
No. Payments are handled entirely by Stripe — your card number never touches our servers.
Can I export MP4 or WebM?
Scribe first tries MP4 through H.264 WebCodecs. If that is unavailable, the MediaRecorder fallback chooses a supported type, trying WebM first but possibly returning MP4, as Safari can.
Which resolution and frame rates are available?
Choose 720p or 1080p, and 24 or 30 fps. You can also choose a vertical 9:16 or wide 16:9 canvas for the export.
Does Scribe work in a browser?
Yes. The editor, preview and rendering run in the browser. MP4 uses H.264 WebCodecs when available; otherwise supported MediaRecorder implementations may produce WebM or MP4. A browser without either path cannot export.
Can I draw with touch?
Yes. Scribe's drawing canvas accepts a mouse, finger or pen, and the board canvas supports pointer input for touch devices.
Does my Scribe work leave my browser?
No. Your text, code and drawing stay in the browser while you compose, preview and render. When you export, Todrawn records the export format and duration for the account allowance.
When should I use Scribe instead of a board?
Use Scribe when you want a paced, stroke-by-stroke video from text, code or a sketch. Use a Todrawn board when you want a spatial canvas for diagrams, images, drawing and live collaboration.
