Draw My Life video maker: draw your story scene by scene
Sketch each scene of your story with a mouse, finger or pen, erase it and draw the next. Todrawn Scribe replays every stroke, the eraser included, as a video you narrate with your own voice.
How to make a Draw My Life video
List the moments you want to tell, one scene each, and record yourself reading them as an MP3, WAV, M4A or OGG file of up to 50 MB. Scribe does not record or generate a voice: it plays the file you upload.
Switch Scribe to Draw and sketch the first scene. When it is done, pick the Eraser, wipe the board and draw the next scene on the clean paper. The pen and the eraser replay in exactly that order, so the video shows each scene appear and clear.
Under Adjust, Add music takes your recording, with trim, start offset and volume to line it up, and the 0.5x to 2x speed control stretches or tightens the drawing. An optional pen-writing sound is there too, off by default.
One clip runs up to 180 seconds, and a longer drawing is sped up to fit. For a longer life story, make one clip per chapter and join them in your video editor. A free account exports 5 videos a day at 720p or 1080p, each ending with a short Todrawn Scribe card.
When Scribe suits a Draw My Life
When the drawings are yours: stick figures, a first house, a map of the cities you moved between. Scribe keeps your own lines, so the video looks like you drew it, because you did. Your drawing and your audio stay in your browser while the video renders.
When it does not
Scribe has no characters, props or stock images to drag in, and it will not draw a scene for you from a prompt. If you want a ready-made cast or one continuous ten-minute take, a tool built for that fits better. Share links play without the uploaded audio, so send the exported video instead.
